User Access

When you create a new user in Simple Recon, that user automatically has access to view all processes and all steps within those processes.

To assign more granular access to any user, click on the 'Recon Access' button.

Your screen should look similar to the one below.

Next, click the 'Grant Access' button to grant specific process or step level access.

Since this is a body shop user, we will grant access only to the 'Body Shop' step in our recon process and click 'Save'

Now, when the user logs in, the user will only see inventory that is in the 'Body Shop' queue. This is also ideal when you have multiple vendors providing the same service and you do not want them to know what work the other vendor is getting.
